TCP Test Results: FreeBSD

I wanted to explore the Test Suite’s capabilities and ran it against various TCP/IP stack implementations.

Here are the results from a vintage 2016 release of FreeBSD 10. Note that while vintage, this code is found in many embedded systems.

TCP/IP Test Tools Survey

I have surveyed all the available TCP/IP Test Tools for both network operators and application developers. Some test and measure throughput and performance; others generate traffic streams. Some are paid but most are free. Let me know if I have missed one!

Test Results: TCP/IP on Windows 7

Here are the results of testing the Windows 7 TCP/IP stack using the IWL TCP/IP Tests. These results are from 2016, but they are instructive.
